Bluebirds

Posted on July 24, 2020January 23, 2021

A rich luscious blue that almost can’t be real. I love the feather detail and intense look of this male bluebird.

Clearly not a perfect photo, but what’s going on is interesting. So clever of that fledgling to beg by our feeder–ha!

Female Bluebird with a Bug ISO 200 300 mm f/4.0 1/160 sec

This female bluebird isn’t as vibrant as her male counterpart, but her colors are still gorgeous. She’s on our feeder post, but with a bug she picked up from somewhere else.

About

I’m learning to see birds and their movement through the lens of a camera. I’m a new photographer surprised at the richness of detail the pictures provide. How I see and watch birds has changed forever.
